Dr. Sofer is a double board certified, dual Ivy League trained facial plastic & reconstructive surgeon.  Dr. Sofer is a Los Angeles native. He graduated summa-cum-laude from UCLA then graduated top of his class at UC Irvine School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed an internship in General Surgery at UCLA Medical Center. He subsequently trained in Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Columbia University, Cornell University and Memorial Sloan Kettering. Following his residency training, he was accepted to a highly competitive AAFPRS fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, one of only about 40 such fellowship positions in the world.

Dr. Sofer has mastered advanced surgical techniques and application of the latest innovations in facial aesthetic surgery. His experience treating a vast diversity of patients allows him to personalize treatment plans tailored to each individual — producing a natural appearance.
